Why is your soldering iron tip in such a state? All it takes is wiping a wet sponge/paper towel/rag, you’ll get much better heat transfer. Unless you’re using the oxidation as a temperature control or something lol

To automatically control this process, there are modules like TP4056, which are sold 5 pieces for 1 dollar, I don’t see the point of saving that kind of money and risking my battery.
